AMR Consultancy was commissioned to support the enhancement of the Fast Overvoltage (FOV) protection system within the Ground Generator and Power Control Unit (GGPCU) of the Airbus A380. This upgrade was essential to improve the reliability and response time of voltage protection during ground operations, ensuring the safe and stable delivery of electrical power to the aircraft’s systems.
Working in collaboration with clients engineering team, AMR contributed to the design, analysis, and testing phases of the FOV system, delivering a tailored technical solution in line with the demanding performance and certification requirements of the aerospace industry.
